Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Laborer to join our team for the evening shift.
The primary responsibility will be working in our shop to prepare materials for the next day's construction projects.
This includes making cuts, painting, organizing materials, and picking up orders.
The ideal candidate will also be involved in occasional on-site work, contributing to various construction tasks.
Responsibilities:
Prepare materials in the shop for the next day's construction projects.
Make cuts, operate circular saws, table saws, and nail guns proficiently.
Paint and finish materials as required.
Pick up orders from various warehouses.
Organize and maintain an efficient workspace.
Collaborate with on-site crews to understand their material needs and ensure timely preparation.
Occasionally participate in on-site construction work.
Qualifications:
High school diploma.
2 years of experience in construction.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Must drive and have valid NYS license.
Proficiency with circular saws, table saws, nail guns, and paint.
Strong organizational skills and a proactive work ethic.
Ability to work independently with guidance from the owner.
Bilingual speakers will receive a pay bonus.
Location:
Shop located in Holtsville, New York.
Job sites will be in Suffolk County.
