The Product Management team drives the development of product definition and planning to optimize the company's products and solutions.
The team applies broad knowledge of company's product and solutions capabilities as well as the competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology and emerging product opportunities.
Oversees the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify product opportunities to expand market share.
The Product Management team also evaluates in-depth market analysis and leads business case development for optimization of existing products and solutions alternatives and/or to create the next generation of new products.
Collaborates with research and development to create products and validate early product definitions.
This role is both strategic and technical in nature and requires extensive industry experience.
The Senior Director, Product Management is responsible for growing revenue, growing profit and delighting customers.
As the senior leader of this segment, you must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; customer evangelism, a big-picture vision, and the ability to drive vision and mission to reality.
You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand problems and challenges, and consider and develop innovative solutions for the broader market.
You will lead the product lifecycle from idea generation and requirements definition to product and solutions launch, and go-to-market execution.
You must enjoy spending time with customers to understand the needs and issues, and ultimately develop solutions to drive the product roadmap.
You will represent a major segment of a business unit and must collaborate across Zebra, with sales, marketing, finance, communications, manufacturing and supply chain, product and solutions engineering.
You are the voice of the customer, the requirements and rationalization of the market needs and priorities.
Responsibilities:
Lead product management and definition of EMC s Android Platform, including hardware enablers, software enablers, solution enablers, as well as accessory and partner needs.
Drive prioritization of innovation and differentiation for EMC platform.
Will require strong communication skills both written and oral - with Business Unit General Manager s, platform engineering leads, portfolio team members, sales engineers, account managers, and customers.
Gathering Voice of Customer and understanding customer workflows, shortcomings, and possible new outcomes are important.
Must have strong technical knowledge across Android devices hardware and software.
Must have a hunter mentality in looking for new outcomes for Zebra to pursue to drive resolution of customer issues as well as differentiation for Zebra products.
Desire to have engineering degree, as well as 10
years in product management.
