Supply Chain Planner, Senior

Overview
Help us get our customers business operating faster and more efficiently.
We need you to support our supply chain planning process and innovative solutions to solve complex problems that will drive growth, lower cost, improve service and enhance operational effectiveness for our customers.
The Enterprise Visibility Mobility Engineering Change Implementation Team is being formed to project manage engineering changes through the product lifecycle. Proactive planning and cross-functional execution of part changes will enable timely cut overs with reduced waste (excess inventory, scrap, rework, shipping delays). This will improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiencies and product profitability.
Plan, track and execute engineering changes (ECs) to optimize business results. You will be accountable for determining the optimal EC transition date to minimize excess inventory and maintain production continuity.
Responsibilities
+ Review ECs to ensure content is accurate and all items have target target cut over dates and clear material dispositions.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, supply chain and engineering teams to develop old to new part cut over plan ? target cut over date, old material disposition and communication plan.
+ Represent supply chain team in cross-functional review meetings.
+ Work with contract manufacturers to collect supply and demand information to validate the cut over dates.
+ Work with contract manufacturers to assess cost impact of EC. This includes the product cost impact as well as non-recurring costs impact (tooling, rework, scrap). Prepare cost impact analysis and include in EC change record.
+ Approve ECs as representative of all supply chain functions at various stages of engineering change order. Ensure all required content and supporting evidence is included with the EC.
+ Work with contract manufacturers and Zebra distribution centers to plan and execute reworks as defined in the EC disposition.
+ Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments to cut over plans to ensure supply continuity and minimize excess inventory and scrap costs. Develop mitigation plans to consume old materials.
+ Verify that ECs are implemented at contract manufacturers on defined cut over date. Update cost impact analysis to capture final cost impact.
+ Collect EC metrics for management tracking and reporting ? plan vs. actual cut over date, plan vs. actual excess inventory/scrap and cost impact.
