Software Development Engineer, II - EMC Engineering Process and Tools

Overview Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains EMC Tooling platform for EMC organization's Tools and systems. Performs tooling integration of vaiours EMC DevOps Tools and Servers to maintain throughput and program consistency. Develops, validates, and tests: implemented solutions to the engineering base aligned with process. Work may be reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy. Follows established processes and directions. Responsibilities Designs, develops, and tests on a variety of software tooling assignments that constitute a portion of a larger project. Develops and tests documentation which describes the implemented functionality. Perform system adminstration for all tools, configure as per process, develop in house solutions where needed.  Participates and provides some input in project code reviews. Runs Engineering Tool tests, such as PAT, functional tests designed by more experienced engineers or 3rd party vendors. Reviews  and perform root cause analyses to identify problems on tools. Provides recommendations and implements solutions to complex issues. Insures compliance with quality process and standards. Makes changes to or upgrades existing Tools. Enhances and improves existing technologies to apply to new solutions. Makes and implements recommendations to immediate team to enhance performance and improve productivity. Seeks out new tools to analyze and solve problems. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Receives general instructions on routine work, new projects or assignments. May provide guidance to non-exempt personnel. Builds productive working relationships internally and externally. Primary intra-organizational with occasional inter-organizational customer contacts on routine matters. Qualifications U.S. Only: Preferred Education: Bachelor's or Masters degree in an appropriate engineering discipline required. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
